Debby and Malcolm, Ruby and I spent a week at this boarding school for Indian MK's in Tamil Nadu near Nagercoil. We took seminars on topics ranging from " What is an effective teacher?" "What is a successful learner?" "Am I a TCK?" " What is healthy discipline?" " How do I recognise and help children with Special Educational Needs?"
Whilst the teachers were in class during the day we all had different tasks: Debby and Malcolm taught sample lessons,

Ruby held discussions with the senior students about being prepared to leave the school and how to handle relationships and with residential staff on how to care for the children in the hostel whilst Christine assessed over 20 children and gave reports to the teachers on how their needs might be met in school.
